My subscribers, I apologize that I’ve had to put my serialized story Acolyte of the Arm on pause for the past month and some weeks. More will be coming soon.
In part, it was because of National Poetry Month—I posted a poem a day during April.
Also, I spent a couple weeks in the UK, running the London Marathon and doing some touristy things.
And lastly, I had another story to wrap up, Nemesis, book 2 in my Pillow-Man series. It’s official release date is June 1, but … BUT as my subscribers, I’m letting you know that the ebook is currently available for free to download on Amazon for the next couple of days. The link is below.

SUMMARY: Discover a new kind of superhero in Pillow-Man!
Secret identity: Sam DeVenoe, star shortstop for the Emerson Eagles.
Only now, Sam discovers he is not the only one with a superpower. His friend Maddy's ability to disappear into shadows actually sounds "super" unlike his super lame ability to conjure up pillows.
But Sam has more to worry about than who among his friends has the coolest superpower. He starts receiving strange texts from someone who claims to know the secret of his superpower. Every hero has a nemesis, and this someone must be Sam's. But who is it? Brock, the school bully. Luke, Brock's older brother. Or, could it be the local supervillain?
Pillow-Man is unique take on what it means to be "super." Tag along with Sam and his friends on a quirky adventure about friendship, baseball, and the ups and downs being a hero.
